The San Luis Obispo County Park Commission wants to gratefully acknowledge the Board of Supervisors, and County Administrator, Dan Buckshi for their support and leadership implementing the long-awaited independent Parks Department.
And, we applaud their visionary decision to appoint Nick Franco as its new director. Mr. Franco is an innovative leader with a proven track record of creative problem solving and he will lead the new department with inspiration and passion.
