Free Kids Science Programs at SLO Library

During February, the San Luis Obispo Library will present “Science Alive,” a series of free science programs for children 5-older. The programs are made possible through a grant from the Harold J. Miossi Charitable Trust.
The programs all start at 10:30 a.m. at the library, and include:
• Saturday, Feb. 18 is “Forces and Motion.” Get powered-up by experiments that touch on energy, kinetic energy, potential energy, and the Law of Conservation of Energy.
• Saturday, Feb. 25 is “Mad Science: Fire and Ice.” Be dazzled with foggy, dry ice storms, be entertained by Eggbert the Egg, and amazed by a Mad Science “burp” potion.
For more information on these and future library programs in March, see: www.slolibrary.org. To register, call 781-5991, and email Youth Librarian, Rebecca Nadel, at: [email protected] with questions.
