You see them all the time, kayakers paddling below the cliffs, drifting peacefully between the sea stacks, coves and rocks while exploring many spots only accessible from the water.
Tourists and locals alike kayak off our coast and enjoy paddling through sea caves, under the Elephant Arch in Pismo Beach and frolicking amongst the local sea life as seals and otters swim with and under the kayaks. The scenery off our coastline from the water looking toward the coast is beautiful, a view very different than from any of the scenic spots.
There are a variety of spots along the Central Coast to rent and launch kayaks from. If this is something you’ve never tried, you may want to add it to your bucket list.
