Police Department Seeks Community Help in Stolen Vehicle Case

The Grover Beach Police Department is asking community members to keep an eye out for a classic car that was stolen on Tuesday.

On Dec. 29, at approximately 2:15 p.m. a 1957 Chevy step side truck with California license plate number 8Z15431 was reported stolen from the Vons Grocery Store parking lot located at 1758 W. Grand Ave in Grover Beach.

The truck is described as having special features such as a chrome front grill, chrome rims, tinted windows, and a black Tonneau cover. The truck was last seen heading eastbound on Grand Ave at Elm Street being driven by a Hispanic male adult prior to it being reported stolen.
