It was an unusually warm October Friday night at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in beautiful wine country Paso Robles. Comedy was on the menu this night with the one and only “Blue Collar Bad Boy” Ron White.
The show started with one of the well known Latin Kings of Comedy, Alex Reymundo. Alex’s, “Texmex” style of comedy was funny, and well received. His routine warmed the crowd quickly.
Ron White Aka Tater Salad took over effortlessly. Ron’s comedic timing, snappy wit, and most of all sarcastic take on life had the crowd rolling. The act felt current and fresh. Of course, Ron’s act would not be complete without his cigar, and drink in hand.
I thought it was nice when Ron graciously thanked Jeff Foxworthy for discovering him, as he put it “making him famous.”
What a great way to spend a Friday night.
