RSVP’s “Program of Senior Volunteer Services” has lowered its minimum age to 50-years old and has several volunteer opportunities for folks with time on their hands and a hankering to do some good in their communities. Call (805) 544-8740 to ask about the volunteer opportunities.

Arroyo Grande Parks & Recreation Department is looking for a historical photographer to photograph people, events and projects with the City of Arroyo Grande.

The Exploration Station is looking for volunteers to staff their front desk. Duties would include welcoming guests, taking entrance fees, turning exhibits on and off. Candidate should enjoy children.

The Morro Bay Senior Center needs a volunteer webmaster. This can be done from home on your own schedule.

SLO FoodBank is having its 10th Annual Hunger Awareness Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 3. Volunteers are needed for 2-hour shifts at donation sites throughout the county.

Festival Mozaic needs volunteers for its 46th Annual Festival July 13-24 in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Shandon, Atascadero, Avila Beach, Los Osos, and Cambria.

SLO Noor Foundation needs a volunteer with experience updating WordPress blogs. After some initial meetings, this is a service that could be done remotely.

Woods Humane Society is looking for volunteers to helping clean, do laundry, paperwork and handyman tasks. The only requirements are the ability to follow directions and be comfortable around cats and dogs. They are open 7-days a week.
