This is the 12th year of Morro Bay BEAUTIFUL’S Annual CityWide Yard Sale. Some interesting things this year are that we have picked up more businesses. I think they saw the benefit of an overall CityWide “Sale” during this weekend and it is great advertising for them. Since we are already advertising on 5 radio stations (97.3 “The Rock” being our constant advertiser), TBID is doing social media for us, Brenda Sue’s Consignment, who has been our headquarters for years, is doing her own advertising and even the Chamber sometimes mentions our event. We have done several interviews which has afforded us the opportunity of mentioning some of the participating businesses and items that the sellers have listed for sale. The exposure we provide to businesses and our citizens is HUGE.
