Assistance League of San Luis Obispo County has received a $2,500 grant from Central Coast Funds for Children. Both volunteer organizations share a commitment to improving the lives of children within the community.
The grant will aid Assistance League in providing new clothing to local disadvantaged children through its Operation School Bell program. During the current school year, this philanthropic endeavor benefited more than 1400 students in grades K through 12.
