Summer Solstice Fun in MBSP

BEST-01 BEST-03 BEST-04 BEST-08Photos by Neil Farrell

With creepy crawly giant insects, scary-looking but harmless bearded dragon lizards, pythons and corn snakes to hold touch and feel, the Annual Summer Solstice environmental education fair was held by Morro Bay State Park staff and docents on Saturday, June 20 in the MBSP Campground. Environmental groups turned out to spread their messages, and have some fun with the kids doing various arts and crafts. Numerous stuffed animal specimens were also on display including a cougar, coyote, lots of birds and a grizzly bear skin.
