Fin’s Seafood Restaurant at Hwy 1 and Grand Avenue in Grover Beach will donate 100% of proceeds to 5Cities Homeless Coalition from its “Dinner for a Cause” running from 5 to 9 p.m. on Giving Tuesday, November 29.
For a $25 donation, enjoy favorite selections from a special menu prepared by Chef Carlos and crew that includes fish, shrimp, fish tacos, tri-tip and a vegetarian option – with chips, coleslaw and non-alcoholic drink included.
For an extra treat, and for an extra donation to the cause, enjoy dessert and drink specials, too.
The super-fun dance band Sound Investment will entertain from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., playing classic rock, pop hits and the occasional country crossover.
The evening’s raffle prizes rock, too. This year’s selections include an Apple Watch, a big-screen (50”) LED TV, and more.
Purchase tickets in advance online at 5CHC.org, by phone at 805-574-1638, or at the door. Take-out is available, too.
This year’s “Dinner for a Cause” helps 5Cities Homeless Coalition fully support the critical needs of children, youth, and families impacted by homelessness in southern SLO County.
“No child should have to endure the indignity of searching the garbage for his or her next meal,” said Fin’s owner Bruce VanVort.
Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back. Celebrated annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, it follows the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It kicks off the charitable season when many people focus on holiday and end-of-year giving.
