It’s a beautiful world and to show just that a group of 22 local photographers recently joined in the 9th Annual Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk. They participated with almost 100 countries, in 1,068 cities around the globe along with 24,381 other photo enthusiasts taking photos in their hometowns all on the same day.
Much like the Olympics, but for photographers, the global event is not only a competition, it is a way to unite fellow photographers both globally and locally as well as be part of a greater cause, raising funds for an orphanage in Kenya. This coming week the one Grand Prize Winner, 10 Finalists, one Group Leader and the People’s Choice Award will be announced.
The photos on this page are some of the notables taken by local photographers.
